What You’ll Do
- Source quotations for goods and services from suppliers on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD).
- Ensure compliance with procurement processes and compile standard bidding documents according to departmental policies.
- Provide guidance in drafting specifications for goods and services.
- Offer secretariat support to the Bid Specification Committee (BSC) and the Quotation Evaluation Committee.
- Compile submissions for deviation requests and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Manage LOGIS transactions, including processing requisitions and authorising payments.
- Supervise and guide subordinates, monitoring their performance and providing support as needed.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
What You’ll Need
- National Diploma (NQF 6) or relevant qualification.
- Experience with the LOGIS system and supply chain management practices.
- Appropriate supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of contract management principles.
- A valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with the Public Financial Management Act (PFMA) and National Treasury Regulations.
