What You’ll Do

  • Organize and coordinate planning workshops, including sending invitations and securing venues.
  • Facilitate events to gather and disseminate information from workshops to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collect, analyze, and organize information to prepare for strategic planning sessions.
  • Assist in the development of Annual Performance Plans (APP) and Branch Annual Operational Plans (AOP).
  • Ensure alignment of planning documents with the Strategic Plan and Medium-Term Development Plan (MTDP).
  • Provide technical support to provinces during the development of Integrated Operational Plans (IOP).
  • Conduct reviews and re-align plans based on departmental resources and performance trends.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Public Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in strategy planning or monitoring and evaluation within a government environment.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Familiarity with government planning cycles, including the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and outcomes approach.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent interpersonal relations.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, report writing, and analytical skills.
