What You’ll Do

• Capture, maintain, and update alpha-numeric data for all cadastral documents.
• Perform mathematical consistency checks and data verification for new land parcels.
• Update the cadastral survey databases with approved documents to maintain an electronic repository.
• Capture and verify historical cadastral documents and ensure legislative compliance.
• Issue and disseminate cadastral information to internal and external clients.
• Conduct technical examinations of cadastral documents, including diagrams and general plans.
• Maintain and repair cadastral records to ensure usability and accessibility.
• Capture and update spatial data to prevent overlaps and enhance accuracy.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 12 qualification and a National Certificate in Geomatics or Survey Officer Certificate (NQF Level 5).
• Knowledge of computer literacy and spatial data management.
• Understanding of the functions of Surveyors-General Offices.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Good organizational skills and proficiency in relevant computer software.
