What You’ll Do
- Capture, maintain, and update alpha-numeric data for all cadastral documents.
- Conduct mathematical consistency checks and verify data for new land parcels.
- Update cadastral survey databases with approved documents.
- Maintain historical cadastral documents and ensure they comply with legislative processes.
- Perform technical examinations of diagrams, general plans, and survey records.
- Provide cadastral information to internal and external clients as needed.
- Capture and maintain spatial data for newly submitted documents.
- Scan and archive cadastral documents upon approval or amendment.
- Repair and keep cadastral records in usable condition.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate and a National Certificate in Geomatics or a Survey Officer Certificate (NQF Level 5).
- Job-related knowledge of computer literacy and spatial data.
- Understanding of the functions of Surveyors’ General Offices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in computer software and good organizational abilities.
