What You’ll Do
- Monitor compliance with accounting practices and regulations governing debtors and receipts.
- Ensure accurate allocation of revenue and journals.
- Compile inputs for Interim and Annual Financial Statements.
- Manage the Cashier’s Office and prepare relevant administrative reports.
- Oversee the effective management of debtors and conduct various system reconciliations.
- Respond to internal and external audit requests, queries, and findings while implementing audit recommendations.
- Supervise and manage subordinates within your area of responsibility.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6/National Diploma) or equivalent in Accounting or Financial Management.
- At least six years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Extensive knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and government policies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in BAS/SAGE, WCS, PERSAL, LOGIS, and PMIS.
- Self-driven, result-oriented, and motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.
