What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement risk management policies, frameworks, and strategies in consultation with management.
  • Facilitate the identification and classification of risks through the compilation of strategic, operational, and process-level risk registers.
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and awareness campaigns to enhance risk management understanding among staff.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with risk management legislation and college policies.
  • Liaise with the Internal Audit team regarding fraud indicators and the implementation of prevention strategies.
  • Compile and present risk management reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Follow up on reported fraud and corruption incidents to ensure appropriate actions are taken.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 / Matric / Level 4 Certificate.
  • An appropriate National Diploma/Degree in Internal Auditing, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in Risk Management or a relevant field.
  • Computer literacy and a valid Driver’s Licence.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures regarding Risk Management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven research, report writing, and presentation skills.
  • A trustworthy, proactive disposition with a commitment to service delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
