What You’ll Do

  • Present orientation and induction programs for new staff.
  • Compile and maintain documentation related to learnership programs and learner databases.
  • Administer and evaluate learnership and ABET programs.
  • Manage part-time and full-time bursary programs.
  • Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Employee Performance Management and Development System (EPMDS) across the hospital and clinics.
  • Develop and maintain databases for grade progression and HRD training programs.
  • Compile in-service training plans and monitor their implementation throughout the hospital and clinics.
  • Facilitate training sessions, including updates of training records.
  • Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on HRD activities.

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate / Grade 12 plus six years of relevant experience in Human Resource Development, or a Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Human Resource Development/Human Resource Management/Public Administration/Public Management as recognized by SAQA, plus three years of relevant experience in Human Resource Development.
  • At least three years of experience in roles such as Chief Administration Clerk, Administrative Officer, Personnel Practitioner, or Principal Personnel Officer (Level 7).
  • Strong knowledge of government policies and legislation related to skills development, including the Employment Equity Act, SAQA, and the National Skills Development Act.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent presentation and report writing skills.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, numerical, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
