What You’ll Do

  • Conduct audit programme steps and fieldwork to gather relevant audit evidence.
  • Assess and evaluate the adequacy and reliability of audit evidence collected.
  • Develop comprehensive audit working papers that support findings and conclusions.
  • Prepare and present audit findings to relevant stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Manage administrative functions within the Regional Internal Audit section efficiently.
  • Coordinate the office’s administration, ensuring resources are adequate for operations.
  • Implement and maintain office management systems that enhance productivity.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6/National Diploma) in Internal Auditing or Financial Accounting.
  • Relevant working experience in Auditing, with a strong understanding of the internal audit process.
  • Registration with the Institute of Internal Auditors.
  • A valid driver’s licence is essential.
  • Possession of Internal Audit Technician (IAT) or Professional Internal Audit Technician (PIAT) qualifications will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Standards for Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and relevant regulations.
  • Strong computer literacy and advanced verbal/written communication skills.
  • Effective project management, report writing, and organisational skills.
  • Dedication to ethical practices and confidentiality, with the ability to adapt and innovate.
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
