What You’ll Do
- Print orthophoto paper prints accurately using appropriate printing devices.
- Scan images from films and hard copies to specified resolutions.
- Maintain and calibrate printing and scanning equipment regularly.
- Laminate prints and provide general assistance to Artisans as needed.
- Manage the retrieval and storage of aerial films and photographic consumables.
- Deliver completed printed maps and aerial photographs to the Map Distribution team.
- Conduct stock-takes of reprographic consumables and maintain accurate registers.
- Adhere to quality standards set by the department consistently.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate is required.
- No prior experience is necessary; however, a willingness to learn is essential.
- Basic knowledge of image correction and operation of large format printers.
- Familiarity with scanning and lamination processes is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational abilities and computer literacy.
