What You’ll Do

  • Adjudicate registered and fatal claims in accordance with delegation requirements.
  • Verify and refer complex claims to medical services for further assessment.
  • Authorise compensation benefits based on established delegations.
  • Manage complex inquiries and conduct advocacy sessions with claimants.
  • Supervise staff to ensure effective claims processing and service delivery.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate plus a 3-year recognised qualification (NQF6 SAQA recognised) in Public Management, Business Management, or a related field.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Compensation or Medical Claims Processing Environment.
  • Knowledge of claims handling, public service regulations, and relevant legislation.
  • Strong skills in accountability, analytical thinking, and customer-oriented service delivery.
