What You’ll Do

  • Receive and verify applications for public transport services at the cashier counter.
  • Ensure all applications are accurately processed and registered.
  • Identify and resolve any issues related to applications.
  • Maintain electronic records of applications for auditing purposes.
  • Prepare applications for publication in the Government Gazette as required.
  • Coordinate with municipalities regarding concurrencies and advise applicants on outcomes.
  • Supervise staff performance and facilitate their professional development.
  • Manage Human Resource Development initiatives and ensure effective leave administration.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF level 6/7 in Public Management, Public Administration, or Transport Management
  • 2-3 years of experience in the public transport environment
  • Knowledge of GPDRT policies, NLTA, and Public Service Regulations
  • Strong planning, organizing, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent computer literacy and good interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Customer-focused approach with good telephone etiquette
