What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Directorate: Public Examinations and the Office of the Director.
  • Coordinate and monitor all directorate activities, including operational and management plans.
  • Organize and support pre-standardisation meetings for NSC and SC examination results.
  • Consolidate reports for the directorate and maintain a systematic archiving system for all documents.
  • Track the directorate’s expenditure and manage communication effectively.
  • Facilitate DBE/Umalusi bilateral meetings, offering secretariat support where needed.
  • Promote innovative communication and foster a creative environment within the Directorate.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant post-matric qualification (NQF level 6) or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of two years of administrative work experience.
  • Strong understanding of public sector operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to plan meticulously, work independently, and manage a high workload efficiently.
  • A friendly and confident demeanor, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
