What You’ll Do

  • Ensure compliance with PAIA and POPIA in managing records and information.
  • Assist in the disposal and archiving of records according to established guidelines.
  • Maintain departmental standards for file plans and records management schedules.
  • Coordinate training and awareness programs on records and information management for departmental staff.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate 3-year National Diploma or Degree.
  • Experience in records and information management administration.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS).
  • A valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Western Cape.
  • Completed Records Management course provided by Western Cape Archives and Records Service (WCARS).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with public sector legislation relating to records management.
