What You’ll Do

  • Compile and process accurate payment vouchers within set timeframes.
  • Manage the monthly DeL claims process, ensuring timely payments.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Enhance financial management through effective planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Review financial statements and assist in the preparation of annual reports.

What You’ll Need

  • Matric/Grade 12 certificate.
  • Up to 6 months of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and related regulations.
  • Familiarity with generally recognized accounting principles (GRAP, GAAP).
  • Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Ax-One, BAS) and HR systems (e.g., PERSAL).
  • Strong skills in accounting, communication, and report writing.
  • Excellent time management and planning abilities.
  • Analytical mindset and creative problem-solving skills.

Job Duties

Compilation and processing of accurate payment vouchers within set and allocated timeframes.

Review of Financial Statements and Annual Report information.

Salary

R237 453 per annum
