What You’ll Do
- Facilitate the ordering and distribution of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Prepare necessary documentation for requisitions and capture requests on LOGIS.
- Recommend purchases of cleaning supplies and verify the distribution processes.
- Order supplies from vendors and maintain a well-organized inventory.
- Supervise cleaning services to ensure a hygienic environment across facilities.
- Administer cleaning schedules and respond to requests from client departments.
- Monitor service quality from in-house staff and private contractors.
- Assist in financial administration related to cleaning services and provide input for budgeting.
- Manage the allocation of uniforms for new cleaning staff.
- Support the implementation of Service Level Agreements (SLA) and general administrative duties.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Public Administration or a related field.
- Relevant work experience in administrative or cleaning service roles.
- Knowledge of procurement and tender regulations, Occupational Health and Safety, Labour Relations Act, and Public Finance Management Act.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills alongside effective problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Proficient in computer usage with a good understanding of general administration tasks.

Requirements

Job Duties
Facilitate the ordering and distribution of cleaning material and equipment: Prepare documentation for requisitions.Capture requests on LOGIS.
Recommend the purchasing of cleaning materials and equipment.
Verify the purchase and distribution of cleaning materials and equipment.
Order cleaning material and equipment from suppliers.
Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level.
Execute the supervision of cleaning services to maintain hygienic environment-: Administer cleaning schedules for clients.
Administer requests from client departments.
Monitor services rendered by in house staff and private contractor.
Ensure preparation and allocation of uniform for new employees.
Provide support in financial administration for cleaning services.
Determine the financial for stock needed.
Provide budget input for cleaning services.
Assist with verification invoices that come from suppliers’ clients’ queries and complaints.
Assist in ensuring implementation of Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Render general administration and supervisory work-: Supervise performance of subordinates.
Administrate office correspondence, documents and reports.
Provide information for audit queries.
Organise relevant meetings and workshops and document record thereof.
