What You’ll Do
- Control access in and out of the Labour Centre or Provincial Office.
- Secure the flow of information and assets within the premises.
- Conduct regular security patrols of buildings and offices.
- Ensure the safety of employees and clients by monitoring activities.
- Perform internal investigations as necessary to maintain security.
- Enforce security rules and regulations effectively.
What You’ll Need
- Matriculation/Grade 12/Senior Certificate (NQF4).
- Grade C Security Certificate and registration with the PSIRA.
- Knowledge of access to public premises and vehicles Act.
- Understanding of evacuation procedures and minimum information security standards.
- Familiarity with Batho Pele Principles and Public Service Regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal relations and problem-solving abilities.
- Coordination skills and basic computer literacy.
