What You’ll Do
- Facilitate and coordinate the development and implementation of agricultural policies and strategies.
- Oversee agricultural research projects and ensure effective data management.
- Manage and lead a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Handle financial management tasks related to departmental projects and initiatives.
- Develop and present analytical reports and research findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and best practices in agriculture.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant MSc degree in Meteorology, Environmental Science, or Geoscience.
- Valid registration with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) as a Professional Natural Scientist.
- A minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience in a natural scientific field.
- A valid code B driving license.
- Strong knowledge of public service regulations, project management, and financial management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements
