What You’ll Do
- Assist with general crop production activities, including irrigation and soil preparation.
- Provide care for livestock, including tending to sick animals, dipping, vaccinating, and dosing.
- Maintain cleanliness of farm facilities and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
- Support infrastructure projects, including the maintenance and construction of roads, fences, and animal housing.
- Help maintain water supply systems, windmills, and other crucial farm infrastructure.
What You’ll Need
- An ABET Level 2 certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Understanding of farm infrastructure construction and general maintenance.
- Experience working with farm animals and pastures.
- Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to operate farm equipment and drive.
- Willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
