Reservationist

A hospitality organisation is seeking a Reservationist to join their team. This role is based within a hotel, lodge, or similar hospitality environment, focusing on managing reservations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Manage guest reservations accurately using the Opera Property Management System (PMS).
Maintain clear and professional communication with clients regarding bookings.
Ensure all reservation details are recorded and updated promptly in the system.
Collaborate with other departments to support seamless guest experiences.

Requirements

A minimum of Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
At least three years’ experience working as a Reservationist in a hotel, lodge, or hospitality setting.
Proven hands-on experience and strong working knowledge of the Opera Property Management System (PMS).
A qualification in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field is advantageous.

Additional Information

This role requires a strong understanding of reservation processes within the hospitality sector and proficiency in managing bookings through specialized software.
