What You’ll Do

  • Prepare food and assist in the kitchen to ensure meals are ready for service.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen areas and boardrooms to uphold hygiene standards.

  • Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and food supplies, making requests when necessary.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF level 1 (below grade 10) or level 2 (grade 10). An ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent is acceptable.
  • No prior experience is required, but basic food service experience is an advantage.
  • A qualification or certificate in food preparation/services will be beneficial.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic numeracy skills and knowledge of hygienic food preparation.
  • Ability to manage stock and maintain cleanliness using various cleaning products and equipment.
  • A team player who is flexible, reliable, and responsible for their work areas.
