What You’ll Do
- Manage registry operations to achieve planned outcomes effectively.
- Provide exceptional counter services to clients and address their inquiries.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring accurate registration and dispatch.
- Sort, register, and distribute mail, including notices on registry matters.
- Maintain an organized filing and record management system.
- Open and close files in accordance with the record classification system.
- Retrieve and trace documents both electronically and manually.
- Operate office equipment related to registry functions and assist with archiving and disposal processes.
- Compile and submit lists of documents for archiving to the supervisor.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate is essential for this position.
- Knowledge of registry duties and practices, with the ability to capture data and operate a computer.
- Understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service.
- Familiarity with storage and retrieval procedures relevant to the registry environment.
- Strong planning and organizational skills are necessary.
- Proficiency in communication, both verbal and written, along with good interpersonal relations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
