What You’ll Do

  • Process default judgments to enhance the Court’s efficiency.
  • Manage applications for default judgment in accordance with court rules.
  • Circulate outcomes to relevant litigating parties.
  • Maintain and update the Default Applications register and data tools.
  • Conduct taxations and ensure compliance with court rules.
  • Finalize opposed and unopposed taxations, including drafting stated cases and submissions.
  • Analyze statistical data to identify trends and propose strategies.
  • Resolve queries from the Presidential Hotline and other institutions.
  • Supervise and develop staff, ensuring quality control and performance management.
  • Maintain manual registers for audit of reported performance information.

What You’ll Need

  • An LLB degree at NQF level 8 recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a legal environment.
  • Superior Court or litigation experience is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Case Flow Management and relevant legislative frameworks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in planning, organizing, and problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail, professionalism, and strong work ethics.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
