What You’ll Do
- Develop and update the Infrastructure Programme Management Plan (IPMP) and procurement strategies.
- Prepare infrastructure budgets and project briefs for implementation.
- Participate in the procurement process of professional service providers and contractors, including preparation and evaluation of bid specifications.
- Monitor the implementation of infrastructure programs and projects, ensuring adherence to service delivery agreements.
- Manage projects that are not allocated to an Implementing Agent, ensuring timely execution and quality compliance.
- Review and sign off on the Infrastructure Programme Implementation Plan (IPIP).
- Collaborate with professionals to review and recommend variation orders and ensure financial implications are managed appropriately.
- Coordinate project commissioning, including site visits and technical assessments.
- Collect and update project documentation and ensure compliance with built environment norms and standards.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate and an NQF level 7 qualification in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent as recognized by SAQA).
- A minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Compulsory registration as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with SACQSP.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in computer applications relevant to quantity surveying and project management.
