What You’ll Do

  • Conduct final reviews and audits on project designs to ensure adherence to established principles.
  • Coordinate design efforts across multiple disciplines to achieve seamless integration with current technologies.
  • Manage the implementation of project management strategies, ensuring that structures, systems, and resources are effectively utilized.
  • Oversee financial management, ensuring the availability and appropriate management of funds to meet project objectives.
  • Allocate and monitor resources, compiling variance reports and managing risks in line with organizational requirements.
  • Lead and motivate a team of professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge for project success.
  • Set performance standards for team members and take corrective actions to achieve departmental objectives.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Higher Diploma or B Tech in a Built Environment field.
  • An Honours degree in any Built Environment field.
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience as a registered Professional Construction Project Manager with the SACPCMP.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Strong decision-making, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
