The Military Health Combat Training Centre is seeking a dedicated Provisioning Administration Clerk to join their team in Lohatla, South Africa. What You’ll Do

  • Manage and oversee the operations of the stores to ensure efficiency.
  • Execute the logistics plan, policies, and internal procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all equipment in the stores.
  • Write off unserviceable equipment to the designated store.
  • Issue equipment using an issue voucher via transito.
  • Receive incoming stock and verify against receipt vouchers for ledger posting.
  • Place orders for equipment when stock levels fall below the required threshold.
  • Organize and pack stores for stock-taking and manage space for new stock.
  • Update and control the registry to maintain stock levels and monitor equipment distribution.
  • Handle general administration tasks and distribute incoming correspondence.
  • Ensure proper archiving according to established guidelines.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Basic knowledge of clerical duties and practices.
  • Ability to capture data accurately and operate a computer.
  • Understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service.
  • Familiarity with various filing systems and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in language skills to assist in effective communication.
