What You’ll Do
- Implement and maintain human resource administration practices to ensure compliance with relevant policies.
- Coordinate the recruitment and selection process for new staff members, ensuring a thorough vetting and interview process.
- Provide support to the Sub-district Manager and assist in various HR administrative functions, including staff appointments and transfers.
- Address HR administration inquiries and guide staff on related matters to promote efficient operations.
- Prepare and manage reports on human resource administration issues and statistics as needed.
- Oversee the performance management system to enhance staff productivity and morale.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent, along with a minimum of three years of experience in a Human Resource unit.
- A Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or Public Management recognized by SAQA.
- Proficiency in PERSAL and the ability to interpret PERSAL reports effectively.
- Strong knowledge of the Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, and Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- A valid driver’s license is considered an added advantage.
