What You’ll Do

  • Conduct assessments and create treatment plans for patients referred for physiotherapy.
  • Manage and complete patient-related administration effectively.
  • Assist in the daily operations of the Physiotherapy department.
  • Support multidisciplinary team projects and lead educational awareness programmes.
  • Provide clinical guidance to physiotherapy students and supervise junior staff.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in physiotherapy practices and TB awareness.

What You’ll Need

  • Appropriate qualification for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Physiotherapist.
  • Current registration with the HPCSA as a Physiotherapist.
  • For Grade 1: No experience required post-registration for RSA qualified employees; 1 year for foreign qualified employees.
  • For Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience post-registration for RSA qualified employees; 11 years for foreign qualified employees.
  • Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of relevant health legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Understanding of evidence-based practices, particularly in physiotherapy, neuro-rehabilitation, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
