What You’ll Do

  • Support the skills development process, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Facilitate skills audits and the development of individual development plans.
  • Develop and implement the workplace skills plan (WSP) and associated training reports.
  • Assist in the provisioning of education and training, ensuring access to development opportunities.
  • Coordinate and facilitate induction programmes and certification processes for successful learners.
  • Maintain a skills development database and compile training statistics.
  • Provide secretarial support to regional education, development, and training committees.
  • Facilitate and monitor performance management processes, providing support and guidance to supervisors.
  • Analyze trends in performance management, including data on employment equity.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Human Resources Management, Skills Development, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in human resources development.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with basic numeracy and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, financial administration, and diversity management.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Public Service Act, Employment Equity Act, and Labour Relations Act.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
  • Personal attributes including trustworthiness, assertiveness, and a strong commitment to teamwork.
