What You’ll Do

  • Administer and implement service benefits processes for employees.
  • Provide advice on state guarantees, housing allowances, and stop orders.
  • Verify registrations and updates related to housing allowances and employee savings.
  • Advise on medical aid processes and manage injury on duty applications.
  • Ensure accurate implementation of employee remunerative allowances and liaise with finance on payments.
  • Oversee the registration of overtime submissions and manage leave processes.
  • Administer termination of services processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Manage human, physical, and financial resources effectively within the unit.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification in Human Resource Management, Public Management, or Public Administration at NQF level 6, as recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resource Management environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Human Resource Regulatory Framework and relevant Departmental policies.
  • Proficiency in PERSAL and understanding of Performance Management and Development Systems (PMDS).
  • Excellent customer care and client service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, report writing, and analytical abilities.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, as well as work extended hours.
