What You’ll Do
- Provide secretarial support to the manager, including managing phone calls and inquiries.
- Prepare and type various documents, including reports and correspondence.
- Organize and maintain the manager’s schedule, coordinating meetings and appointments.
- Ensure the effective flow of information and documentation within the office.
- Assist in budget administration, monitoring expenditure, and preparing financial reports.
- Handle procurement of office supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order.
- Record meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
- Maintain filing systems and manage documentation in compliance with legal requirements.
- Support the manager with travel arrangements and logistical coordination for meetings.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Secretarial/Office Administration or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience providing support to senior management.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and office procedures.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage at various levels.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
