What You’ll Do

  • Manage the CFO’s diary and schedule appointments efficiently.
  • Handle correspondence and prepare briefing notes and official documents.
  • Ensure effective information flow to and from the CFO’s office.
  • Organize meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for the CFO’s engagements.
  • Maintain accurate records of documentation in compliance with legislation.
  • Assist with budget documentation related to the CFO’s unit and monitor expenditure.
  • Draft memos for budget adjustments and monitor financial reports.
  • Manage procurement processes for standard items needed in the office.
  • Collect and compile information requested by the CFO for various engagements.

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12 and an NQF 6 qualification in Office Administration, Public Management, Management Assistant, or equivalent as recognized by SAQA.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience providing support to executive management.
  • Familiarity with diary management, travel coordination, and secretarial services.
  • Basic knowledge of financial administration and procurement processes.
  • Valid driver’s license (exceptions apply for persons with disabilities).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
