What You’ll Do
- Process quotations for goods and services, ensuring compliance with tax and procurement regulations.
- Handle requisitions for purchasing, verifying signatures and budget availability.
- Compile comparative schedules and evaluation reports for bid committee consideration.
- Prepare and distribute bid documentation, ensuring adherence to standard requirements.
- Monitor the validity of closed bids and support the execution of the bidding process.
- Provide administrative support for bid committee meetings, including logistics and documentation preparation.
- Record minutes and prepare evaluation reports for the bidding process.
- Address queries related to bids administration.
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 plus an NQF 6 qualification in Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Supply Chain Management environment.
- A valid driver’s license (except for candidates with disabilities).
- Familiarity with LOGIS and CSD functionality systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently while accepting responsibility.
- Knowledge of Public Financial Management Act and Treasury Regulations.
