What You’ll Do
- Schedule and coordinate consultation sessions with business units regarding organisational structures.
- Assist in the redesign and implementation of the organisational structure and post establishment information.
- Facilitate work study investigations and organisational functionality assessments.
- Develop business processes and standard operating procedures.
- Manage job evaluation activities, including interviews and completion of Position Information Questionnaires (PIQs).
- Maintain a database for job evaluations and related records.
- Support the creation and abolishment of posts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide job description templates and assist in the review and development of job descriptions for business units.
- Compile reports and presentations related to post establishment data.
What You’ll Need
- NQF Level 6/7 National Diploma or Degree in Management Services, Production Management, or Operations Management.
- 1-2 years of experience in the Organisational Development field.
- Strong knowledge of planning, organising, and change management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on diversity awareness.
- Understanding of public service legislation and DPSA directives.
- A PERSAL Staff establishment certificate is an added advantage.
