What You’ll Do

  • Manage and coordinate the flow of information within the DDG’s office.
  • Provide administrative support services, including procurement and asset management.
  • Assist with the coordination and quality assurance of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Implement effective records management for all submissions and correspondences.
  • Organise workshops and meetings, representing the manager when necessary.
  • Handle queries related to the DDG’s office and manage financial and human resources.
  • Support budget compilation in alignment with the MTEF and PFMA, liaising with project managers.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant NQF level 6 qualification in Public Administration, Management, or Governance.
  • Five years of experience in a general administration or office management environment.
  • A valid, unexpired driver’s license.
  • Strong knowledge of public service policies and administrative procedures.
  • Basic financial management skills and familiarity with the PFMA.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to act with discretion and reliability in a professional setting.
  • Understanding of social and economic development issues and relevant legislative frameworks.
