About the Role
The Department of Information and Communication Technology invites dedicated professionals to join as Network Controllers at the National Head Office in Pretoria. What You’ll Do
- Provide desktop and server support to ensure system functionality.
- Install and maintain transversal systems including BAS, LOGIS, and PERSAL.
- Detect and repair faults on LAN/WAN, PCs, peripherals, network points, and software.
- Monitor and connect IP Telephony and Video Conferencing systems.
- Manage resources and performance information to improve operational efficiency.
What You’ll Need
- National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering (NQF level 6) as recognised by SAQA.
- A+, N+, and Security+ certifications will be advantageous.
- 1-2 years’ experience in an IT and network environment.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Strong understanding of MS Windows 11/Office 365 and the MS Office suite.
- Good planning and organising skills related to your own work.
- Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements
