Key Responsibilities
As an HR Intern, your role will include:
– Providing administrative support to the HR team daily.
– Maintaining comprehensive employee records.
– Assisting in recruitment processes, from advertising to interviews.
– Supporting the onboarding of new employees.
– Managing data capturing, filing, and document management.
– Assisting with payroll preparation and timesheet verification.
– Supporting training sessions and staff wellness initiatives.
– Ensuring compliance with HR policies and labour legislation.
– Assisting with employee relations and disciplinary processes.
Requirements/Qualifications
To be eligible, candidates must have:
– Grade 12 (Matric) and a relevant Diploma (N6 Certificate) from a recognised TVET College.
– A basic understanding of labour legislation such as BCEA, EEA, and OHSA.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Experience with finance or payroll systems is advantageous.
