What You’ll Do

  • Provide an effective messenger delivery service, ensuring timely transportation of documents.
  • Collect and deliver post, files, and other essential documentation to various destinations.
  • Maintain and manage delivery logbooks and ensure accuracy in signing for received documents.
  • Organize files and documentation in a systematic manner to facilitate easy access and retrieval.
  • Follow traffic rules and directions diligently while managing deliveries to ensure safety and timeliness.
  • Be prepared to work extended hours when necessary to meet operational needs.

What You’ll Need

  • Competency in the core functions of the messenger role.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
  • A valid driver’s license is essential for this position.
  • A Grade 10/Standard 8/NCV Level 2 certificate as recognized by SAQA.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic administrative skills for managing logbooks and files.
  • Ability to read maps and follow directions effectively.
  • High levels of integrity, reliability, and punctuality.
