What You’ll Do

  • Manage and provide care to patients admitted to the ICU, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Participate in academic and training programs to enhance your professional skills.
  • Conduct clinical audits and actively engage in continuous professional development.
  • Collaborate with hospital management to maintain efficient patient care standards.
  • Take part in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient management and care strategies.

What You’ll Need

  • An MBChB degree that allows registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
  • Current HPCSA registration as a Medical Practitioner (Independent Practice).
  • Sound knowledge of medical ethics and clinical management.
  • Ability to work shifts and manage patients independently.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of health policies, legislation, and current public service regulations.
  • A valid work permit, if applicable, for non-South African applicants.
