What You’ll Do
- Provide first and second-line ICT support to college users across all campuses.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications.
- Administer user accounts and manage email services and access protocols.
- Maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless networks.
- Support server infrastructure and cloud services, ensuring optimal performance.
- Implement cybersecurity measures and manage endpoint protection solutions.
- Monitor ICT systems for integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information.
- Conduct backup and recovery procedures, ensuring data security and accessibility.
- Participate in ICT projects, offering solutions and innovations to enhance services.
- Maintain technical documentation and asset registers for ICT resources.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 / Matric / Level 4 Certificate.
- An appropriate National Diploma or Degree in IT, Information Systems, or related fields.
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an ICT support role.
- Relevant certifications in Routing & Switching, Security, or Cloud Computing.
- A valid Driver’s Licence.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with an understanding of network security.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
