What You’ll Do

• Design carpentry projects according to client specifications and production capabilities.
• Produce high-quality wooden objects using appropriate materials and equipment.
• Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment to identify technical faults.
• Carry out repairs on equipment and facilities to meet established standards.
• Ensure quality assurance for all serviced and maintained equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Compile and submit reports related to maintenance activities.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Stay updated on new technologies and procedures relevant to carpentry and maintenance.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate Trade Test Certificate in Carpentry.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of Public Service Regulations and Public Service Act.
• Skills in project coordination and technical design.
• Strong competencies in technical report writing and consulting.
• Familiarity with computer-aided design applications and legal compliance in construction.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and planning abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
