What You’ll Do

• Design and produce air conditioning systems according to client specifications and production capabilities.
• Manufacture and assemble air conditioning units using appropriate materials and equipment.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on produced objects to maintain high standards.
• Inspect and troubleshoot air conditioning equipment and facilities for technical faults.
• Carry out repairs on equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with established standards.
• Test repaired equipment to confirm it meets specifications.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, updating registers and compiling reports.
• Collaborate with and mentor junior staff in technical skills and project execution.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with new technologies and procedures.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate Trade Test Certificate in Air Conditioning.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Familiarity with Public Service Regulations and the Public Service Act.
• Strong project coordination and technical design skills.
• Proficient in technical report writing and consulting.
• Competence in computer-aided design applications and production processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good planning, organizing, and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
