What You’ll Do

  • Assist in developing concept documents for cultural projects.
  • Organize meetings and take minutes to ensure effective communication.
  • Contribute to the creation of budgets and the implementation of operational plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate funded arts and culture projects.
  • Maintain and update a district database for stakeholders.
  • Build and sustain working relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Compile project reports to track progress and outcomes.
  • Implement arts and culture projects that engage the community.
  • Prepare monthly reports for the section to provide updates.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events and outreach programs.
  • Support procurement processes within the section.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth operations.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Senior Certificate/Matric Certificate/Grade 12.
  • A three-year degree or National Diploma (NQF 6) in relevant fields such as Cultural Studies, Arts Management, Public Administration, or related areas.
  • South African citizenship.
  • No criminal record.
  • Must be unemployed and have not previously participated in an internship program.
