What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and finalize accounts related to injuries on duty (IOD).
  • Oversee the administration of Compensation Fund claims to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Supervise and facilitate the approval of injury and illness documents for a team of 127 individuals.
  • Manage the physical, financial, and human resources allocated to the office, ensuring optimal use of resources.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and professionalism within the team.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or an equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4 recognized by SAQA).
  • At least four years of experience in a relevant field.
  • A three-year diploma or degree (NQF Level 6 or higher recognized by SAQA) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with general computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A valid driver’s license for at least a light motor vehicle.
  • Competency in problem-solving, sound planning, organizing, and administration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and extended hours when necessary.
