What You’ll Do

  • Assist with administrative duties related to employee leave, service terminations, and promotions.
  • Support recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews and processing applications.
  • Manage rank translations and transfers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee behaviour management and career management processes within the department.
  • Handle matters related to the Medical & Injury board and other HR-related functions.
  • Ensure all documentation and processes adhere to public service prescripts.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or an equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4 as recognized by SAQA).
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
  • Competency in the core functions of the HR role.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • General computer literacy, particularly in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and professionally.
  • Problem-solving abilities, sound planning, organizing, and administration skills.
