What You’ll Do

  • Provide housekeeping and cleaning services in designated areas, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Remove garbage and ensure proper waste disposal.
  • Maintain hygiene in restrooms, bathrooms, and other facilities through regular cleaning tasks.
  • Clean kitchen utensils and equipment thoroughly.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and utensils.
  • Keep cleaning equipment safe, clean, and in working condition; report any maintenance needs.
  • Arrange furniture and equipment in the boardroom for meetings.
  • Implement basic security measures, such as locking doors and closing windows.
  • Identify and report hazards related to fire and electricity within the facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and hygiene regulations, actively promoting a clean and safe environment.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF level 1 or 2 qualification (ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent).
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
