About the Role
The South African Police Service (SAPS) is seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Food Services Supervisor at various SAPS Academy locations, including Graaff-Reinet, Tshwane, Moloto, and Mankwe. What You’ll Do
- Oversee the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments to cadets.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist in food service support functions and meal preparation.
- Ensure that dining halls are set up and ready for service.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to catering operations.
What You’ll Need
- Competency in the core functions relevant to the role.
- Fluency in at least two official languages, including English.
- South African citizenship.
- A Grade 10 qualification is advantageous.
- Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and write.
- No criminal or departmental convictions pending.
- Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
- Ability to operate basic machines and equipment.
