What You’ll Do

• Ensure compliance with proper methods for food preparation and service.
• Compile work schedules and allocate duties effectively to staff.
• Read and interpret food recipes for accurate meal preparation.
• Maintain staff attendance registers and oversee staff management.
• Control inventory levels and recommend necessary equipment replacements and stock purchases.
• Manage payment accounts for food supply items.
• Conduct orientation programs for new staff members.
• Provide training to enhance staff skills and ensure service delivery meets required standards.

What You’ll Need

• A minimum of Grade 10 and at least 3 years of experience in food service.
• Relevant qualifications in food service management will be an added advantage.
• A valid Code 8 Driver’s Licence.
• Sound knowledge of food services and health and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in computer usage.
