What You’ll Do

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of patient meals, including special diet requirements.

• Provide informal training and support to new employees within the food service unit.

What You’ll Need

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Relevant experience in preparing meals within a hospital setting.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good communication skills, including the ability to read, speak, and write effectively.
• Knowledge of hygiene practices, occupational health standards, and safety principles, especially HACCP.
