Fitter & Turner

DB Recruitment is representing a smaller engineering organisation based in Cape Town that is seeking a Fitter & Turner to work on day shift. The role requires carrying out mechanical tasks involving lathes and milling machines within the engineering department.

Key Responsibilities

Perform machining duties using lathes and milling machines.
Complete general fitting and turning work as required.
Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs.
Work overtime when necessary.
Ensure reliable transport to and from the workplace.

Requirements

A relevant Trade Test qualification in Fitter & Turner, Turner, or Millwright.
A minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
Experience operating lathes and milling machines.
Own reliable transport.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Additional Information

The position is based on day shift in Cape Town.
