What You’ll Do

  • Answer telephone calls and handle various queries from staff and suppliers.
  • Manage the issuance of vouchers and coordinate the receipt and distribution of goods.
  • Drive throughout the hospital estate to deliver goods to end-users efficiently.
  • Keep various stores and non-store areas clean and well-maintained.
  • Assist in other stores as required, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Rotate stock using the first-in, first-out method to maintain inventory freshness.
  • Support the Warehouse Clerk with stock handling and management tasks.

What You’ll Need

  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
  • A valid driver’s license (Code B/EB) is required.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and suppliers.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling stock and moving items as necessary.

Requirements

Minimum educational qualification: Basic numeracy & literacy.

Experience: Appropriate experience in a Warehouse environment.

Inherent requirements of the job: Valid driver's license (Code B/EB).

Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication skills.

Physically, mental fit and able to handle stock.

Job Duties

Answer the telephone & handle queries.

Manage the Issue Vouchers, receive & issue goods.

Driving around the Estate and delivering goods to end-users.

Salary

R144 024 per annum
